Search Assisted Living

Every licensed assisted living facility in Florida, with its state inspection record, searchable by county, care type, ZIP or hospital.

Search Assisted Living home page with a county and care-type search

The problem

Families choosing assisted living usually land on referral sites that list the facilities that pay them and pass the family's details to several places at once. The state publishes every licence and inspection, but in a form few families would ever find.

What I built

  • A data pipeline that turns the state licensing and inspection records into 3,019 facility pages, one per licensed facility.
  • Inspection history on every page: deficiencies, complaints and enforcement actions.
  • County and care-type pages (memory care, extended congregate care, Medicaid and more), plus search near a ZIP code or hospital with a map.
  • A shortlist and introductions flow: families pick the facilities, and only those hear from them.
  • Plain pages on how facilities are chosen and how the site makes money, with paid placements labeled Featured.

How it's tracked

  • Multi-step care-finder form with a versioned consent record stored with each request.
  • First-touch attribution kept through the visit and attached to each request.
  • Search engines held off until launch; sitemap of 3,154 URLs ready.

Where it stands

Pre-launch preview. The request form runs in demo mode and the site is not indexed yet, so there is no traffic to report.
