Instant booking for a car detailer
Pick a service and vehicle size, see the price, and book a real open time from the owner's calendar in under a minute.
The problem
Customers wanted to book on the spot. A request form means waiting for a call back, and many people move on to the next result.
What I built
- A booking widget: service, vehicle size with the price shown, then the next three bookable days first.
- Start times read from the owner's Google Calendar free/busy and sized to the service, so a long job never overlaps the next one.
- Booked on the spot, with add-to-calendar and directions. If the calendar can't be reached, the booking is saved as a request and never shown as confirmed.
- A next-visit page with a discount for returning customers, kept separate from the review link, because Google prohibits incentivised reviews.
How it's tracked
- Each step of the booking measured in GA4, and the booking sent to Meta as a Schedule event from the browser and the server with one shared event ID.
Where it stands
Built for the client and running as a preview; not yet live on his domain.
